WEEKLY WINNERS
More participants here at Sarcastic Mom Weekly winners
This week my "Weekly Winners" are rather short and simple, we have a heat wave and the whole country suffers !
It's over 32 °C (almost 90 F !) We are not equipped at all for such a heat in our usually rather rainy and cool country. The Red Cross and other organizations are underway to supply homeless or old people with water !
The tent of my cat Arthur is the ideal cover against the bright light
I moved my little office on the partly covered patio. Otherwise I would sit in a dark house with all shutters closed to keep the heat out.
When it's hot like this we are not very hungry either, but salads of all kind are welcome.
That's what I prepared yesterday. I grilled zucchinis and red, green and yellow peppers with some herbs and spices.
cooked pasta, it looks like rice, but isn't
grilled shrimps
put all together with Balsamic vinegar and olive oil
and when it was ready it looked like this.
BTW I grilled and cooked EVERYTHING in my microwave, that way I didn't use one single pan or pot and it wasn't hot in the kitchen either and of course it went very quick.

Your salad look delicious!
ReplyDeleteBeing from Florida 32C is normal for this time of year, but if you're to accustom to the heat, it can be oppressive.
I hope it cools off for you soon. (I love the tent you made for your computer.)
