GLOBAL WARMING ?????

Today it's Easter Saturday and our garden should look like this



the wheeping willow green and the air soft, the cats playing and flowers shyly coming out. BUT yesterday evening when I opened the windows to let some fresh air in ......




it had snowed !!! We haven't had any snow the whole winter and now at Easter it snows !!



This was the view this morning. The blooming bushes in snow !

Now I and my cats got a nervous breakdown, only Mr. Gattino didn't care because he is scotched to the TV screen and watching Formula 1.

Instead of swallowing pills we showed our depression in another way. Psychology is a mistery !

This year I didn't have very much work to decorate our living room for Easter. I had bought completely new things last year so I just had to put them up again. There only was one trouble, I had put the baskets away without realizing that there were still real eggs in ! You can imagine the smell which came out of the plastic bag when I opened it ! Now it doesn't smell anymore and here is my Easter decoration :

Wardens intoxicated with a Cake
Four wardens of a Danish prison had to be hospitalized because they had eaten a cake prepared by the prisonners. The cake was full of drugs. I think this cake tasted very good because they ate it all ! That was a very nice gesture of the prisoners !

When the weather is nice a lot of people like to visit the flea market in Brussels. There is a lot to see and some things which are sold there are really too funny, like false teeth or all kind of frames for glasses. Of course you can also find real antiques.

We don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day and I never heard about green beer either, although I could tell some very ugly beer stories I opted for the first proposition.

We always use to say "I'll kill myself" when one of us wants to change clothes. This remained from one day when we were on holidays at my aunt's in Madison/Wisc. She wanted to take us to Wisconsin Dells to the very beautiful "Indian Show". Our son, 15 at this time, didn't speak english or only a few words and as my aunt didn't speak any french they always spoke german together. But in this language too our son had sometimes a leak of vocabulary. I always remember the scene. He was standing in the middle of the living room barefoot and in shorts and declared : I kill myself now (german word umbringen) we all looked quite dazzled before we realized that he wanted to say : I get changed now (in german umziehen).

From this day on whenever somebody changes clothes in this family he declares "I kill myself"

A VERY USEFUL TOOL

I first read about "Google Reader" on Mrs. Lifecruiser's blog. She wrote that it is a very useful tool to follow up your friends new posts, and recommended it to all of her readers. I didn't really pay attention and thought I am happy with my friend's list in my favourites which I used every day to check if some of my blog friends had published a new post. But then one day by curiosity I wanted to know more about it and see if it is really such a practical thing.

I googled "Google Reader" and read the explanations. It really looked very interesting. It would allow me to know immediately who had written a new post and not loosing my time by checking my whole "favourite" list and open one blog after the other.





I decided to sign in. It wouldn't cost me anything and there was no obligation to use it or not.



When I had signed in I got my "Home" page



Now I only had to put in the links of all my blogfriends I wanted to follow up, what I did here :



and then I suddenly got the list of posts with titles, date and hour when it had been published ! Great ! And when I had opened them they were marked in blue !



I just had to click on the Blog name and I got the whole post on my page. If I wanted to comment I only had to open the blog and proceed as usual.



Now I wonder how I did before. I don't loose time anymore by checking blog by blog. I just look at my list and see what has happened while I wasn't there. It really is a very useful tool ! Some of my friends have it already, I know it because when I have published a post, sometimes a few minutes later I already get the first comment.

Only three of my friends have no "feed" I don't know why, they don't appear in my list.
