Some people Mr. G. included, dream every night. In his dreams he speaks loud in Italian, French, and German when it concerns people with whom he is speaking.
I found a website which explains your dreams.
If you dream about an or a
To speak with an accent in your dream suggests that you are having difficulties conveying your thoughts. Consider how you feel about the accent. If you feel the accent makes you stand out in a negative way, then it signifies feelings of insecurities. If the accent makes you stand out in a positive way, then it symbolizes an air of confidence.
So what is right here in this case, he only has no accent in Italian ?
To dream of a car accident symbolizes your emotional state. You may be harboring deep anxieties and fears. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? Perhaps you need to slow down before you hit disaster. You need to rethink or re-plan your course of actions and set yourself on a better path.
So please reduce your speed at least in your dreams
To see a cat in your dream symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. To see a black cat in your dream indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction.
And I have 4 cats !
To use a hair dryer in your dream indicates that you need to clear your thoughts and get a fresh perspective on things.
Now I only need to dream of a Hair Dryer !
To dream about your Facebook page represents your desires to expand your social circle. You need to reach out to others in a more direct and personal way. It is time to get out there and experience life.
Anybody dreaming of Facebook ? certainly not me !
To dream that you are being chased or stalked by the paparazzi indicates that your privacy is being violated. You feel that your own identity is lost. Alternatively, the dream represents your aspirations for fame.
Never happened to me yet, and you ?
To dream that you are getting a parking ticket suggests that you are feeling lost and not knowing what you want to do with your life. You feel that you are being judged and criticized for the path you want to take. The dream may also be analogous to your lack of accomplishments or to the setbacks in your life.
and all this because of a Parking Ticket ?
To see only the tail of an animal in your dream signifies annoyances and complications in a situation where pleasure was expected. If the tail is wagging, then it symbolizes excitement, thrills, and joy. If the tail is between the legs, then it represents fear and humiliation. Alternatively, the dream represents balance. Or it may be a pun on "being tailed" as in being followed or chased.
To dream that you have grown a tail represents an aspect of the past that still lingers with you.

FRIDAY's FAVE FIVE
more participants at Susanne at Living to tell the Story.
1. It was again time to drive my neighbor to the hospital in Brussels for her monthly shot in the eye. There was quiet a lot of traffic, because they repair streets everywhere at the same time !
2. Our Acqua gym teacher had hurt her back and has to stay at home. To my surprise when I arrived, there was a young man, who replaced her. As I didn't expect a man amongst all us women I expressed my surprise with a loud "Awww a male !" which made laugh the whole group, the young man included. He actually was very good and I had some muscles which hurt the next day ! Good sign.
3. After grey days we had one wonderful day with sunshine.
My friend Ilona and I took the opportunity to visit the Huizing Park very close to Brussels. It's a beautiful park and very big. The flowers had started to bloom and it was so colorful everywhere. Lots of people from the city were there with their children, there is also a zoo with chicken, goats, rapids and other little animals and a very exceptional playground, made out of tree trunks. I had never seen such and apparently it also was quiet new. There were also families with blankets sitting on the grass and having a picnic. Of course I did some photo shootings, and was happy about the result.
4. We hadn't put up our garden furniture yet because the weather was too cold.
When it was warmer we decided to clean the terrace with the Karcher, the tiles were unusually green this year. We couldn't finish, because suddenly we had very heavy rain, impossible to stay outside. I hoped the rain would stop, but it didn't so we have to do the rest maybe tomorrow.
5. In or painting group for once we discussed politics because of the French president elections on Sunday with the candidates Sarkozy and Hollande. They made the same circus show like in the States, two candidates insulting each other politely on TV, one promising the heaven on earth (Hollande) the other still President more realistic, because he had realized that without money in the governmental piggy bank, you can't keep your promises. Finally everybody was for Sarkozy the actual president, although he is not ideal either, but still better than the big mouth Hollande. And while we discussed their personalities I started a new cat painting.
This one I had painted for my little grandson Toby for his room, for Easter

ROMAN NUMBER X
more participants at Jenny Matlock's Alphabet Thursday
If I would have titled this post an "X" post, I would have all porno spammers as "anonymous" in my comments ! And as it would be a big deception for them I don't do it.
X stands for so many things ! For example if you buy a cloth size XL it means that you are a little extra large, but if you read XL as a Roman number it would only be 40, which is a rather little size in Europe.
In Roman numbers X stands for 10. Fortunately since the 14th century, Roman numerals were largely abandoned in favor of Arabic numerals ! Fortunatly, otherwise XXX +V would be 35 imagine the space it would take on a paper. Today you still find Roman letters for Kings and Queens (George V, Elizabeth II) There is no King or Queen who made it until X = 10 ! as far as I know.
X also stands for anonymous. "Mrs X and her lovers" would be an attractive book title.
You still find Roman numerals on clocks
Or coins 1986 One Ounce Eagle with date in Roman Numerals MCMLXXXVI
on gravestones or memorials
as decoration on jewelry
even for tatoos
And then why Malcolm Little who is not well known under this name, became Malcolm X ? In his autobiography, he explained why: "The Muslim's 'X' symbolized the true African family name that he never could know. For me, my 'X' replaced the white slavemaster name of 'Little' which some blue-eyed devil named Little had imposed upon my paternal forebears."
With all these Xplanations I wish you to reach the age of XC (90) at least !

OUR WORLD - FABULOUS RESTO DECORATION
Click on logo to join other participants
Last week I have been to a Mexican Restaurant in Waterloo. I was not so impressed by the so said Mexican food, but rather by the restaurants decoration ! I had never seen such a special and very creative one in a restaurant.
At the entrance, looking inside I was surprised by the huge wheels hanging from the ceiling
enormous turbines and other machinery
The wooden table gave a warm feeling to this rather industrial decoration !
Unfortunately the waiter didn't know for what these engines were used, so we could only guess. This was probably used for grape pressing
others for beer
I think the only really "Mexican" things were this
another engine was used for the bar
a huge fortune wheel stand opposite
and a "all you can eat" buffet for 11 € (14.50 $). For those who really know Mexican food it looked rather like a mixture between Belgian and Mexican food and it wasn't spicy at all, but it was not bad at all.
If we would have eaten "à la carte" there was real Mexican food but also more expensive and for just a lunch it was OK.
other impressive engines or machinery
and the restroom was all green with football (soccer) team posters at the wall.
Next time we will go there, then not anymore for the decoration but in the evening to have nice Mexican specialities.

WHAT DID YOU DO THIS WEEKEND ?
Helps you to remember what you have done on weekend April 28, 2012.
It really becomes boring that I always (or nearly) complain about the weather. But it's still the same, now it's grey, rainy but a little warmer. Not really a weather for doing other things than staying inside somewhere.
I know from a friend that we have a new second hand shop in Waterloo, which sells household appliances, video cameras, TV and accessories and a lot of stuff more. The good thing is you can bring things there you don't need anymore and sell them. I tried with a little table vacuum cleaner and they took it for a little money, but still it's better than nothing. Now I know what to do with all the stuff we don't need anymore.
Kim, one of our cats needed badly to go to the groomer. She is a very strange cat and hates to be touched, so it is very difficult to catch her put her in a cage and bring her to the groomer.
We trapped her on the staircase where she couldn't escape, by the time, we were both exhausted ! Finally I arrived there in time for my appointment and suddenly this cat transformed herself into the most friendly and patient cat on earth ! If we try to brush her she runs away. She is very intelligent, stays around the house eats at night and during the day we only see her in the yard. An invisible cat. She has all signs of an autistic person she is "Raincat" instead of "Rainman". It took almost an hour to get rid of all the knots ! And she purred and purred and was really happy. I was offended ! When I saw this hair mountain, I thought she would be a good sheep. I always go twice a year, in spring and autumn but as the winter had been so cold, the animals had more fur than usual.
In the afternoon I let out my creativity and created these pictures just for fun. I also want to make new headers.
Besides TV and continuing to amuse myself with my photos, I didn't even realize that it was rainy again. I didn't leave the house at all and we ended the day by watching an Inspector Lewis, who replaces Morse now. As it all plays in Oxford I recognized the places and it brought back so many nice memories of my stay in Oxford last year.

HOW TO CREATE MODERN ART
In our painting class we have a man who is a real outsider. We are all retired women and men and come for painting (more or less good) get together and most of all having fun.
This man, I don't even know his name is very strange, he is not really in our world. He talks strange things and some of us think he is a little mentally disturbed. He works in the retirement home where we have our class and is probably far younger than the rest of us. He has a big round scar on his head.
I have heard that he is a refugee from Chile under General Augusto Pinochet where at least 2,115 were killed and at least 27,265 were tortured, including 88 children younger than 12 years old. He probably belonged to the children group.
Last week he installed this strange thing.
He had made a little engine, fixed peacock feathers on it and decorated them with 50 € (66 $) bank notes. I asked him if he had won in the lottery, but he only smiled. Then he had fixed two brushes on the whole thing and put black and red color on them.
Then he pulled the little engine around and around creating strange cercles.
The result was this.
We all wondered why he had made all these circumstances, just to get this result, but our teacher told us that he is the only real artist in the group. And she must know.
