A friend informed me about the following :
Woman has Man in it;
Mrs. has Mr. in it;
Female has Male in it;
She has He in it;
Madam has Adam in it;
Okay, Okay, it all makes sense now...
I never looked at it this way before:
Ever notice how all of women's problems start with MEN?

FRIDAY's FAVE FIVE
more participants at Susanne at Living to tell the Story.
1. This was the last week of my holidays in Hurghada at the Red Sea. The days were like usual,breakfast, swimming, laying at the beach but
we also had a belly dance show in the evening
2.
We hadn't been in the town yet so we took the taxi (see post below) and did our little shopping.
The town as usual is very busy and everybody wants to sell you something
We watched for a while this artisan who engraved plates, vases etc.
a special artwork, filling in colored sand in bottles making little designs
3.
It's also funny to watch people playing Boccia.
4. and then the last day arrived and we had to fly home. As the weather became quiet windy and rather cool only 24 instead of more than 30°, we didn't regret too much.
Our plane was 1 1/2 h late due to the heavy traffic in Hurghada, and we hang around in the airport for 4 h !! We looked in the hundreds of little boutiques and of course bought things in the freeshop.
5.
Chantal's wheelchair assistance worked perfectly this time and we were not the only once ! there were 7 wheelchairs a whole convoy ! We waited to get into the truck with elevator to be "loaded" into the plane
and as you can see everybody found it quiet funny and made pictures.
The flight was quiet and we finally arrived in Brussels at nearly 8 ! Long day !
and this little man, my grandson Toby had his first birthday this day. We will go to Amsterdam tomorrow and celebrate this big event !!

CALL A TAXI
more participants at Jenny Matlock's Alphabet Thursday
The only means to go downtown to Hurghada, are your feet or a taxi. As it is a little to far to walk unless you want to arrive a few cm or inches shorter, you call a taxi. There are hundreds, driving up and down the main street.
Before you cross the main street, I suggest to increase your life insurance and make a testament. Cars are coming from all sides, double left or right, honk in concert and don't pay attention at all at walking people.
I adventured a little on the street to stop a taxi which should take us back to our hotel. After having nearly lost the toes of my left foot (or was it the right ?) by a honking car driving very close to me, a taxi stopped. He opened the door and I asked the price. No problem he told me, yes I said I know there is no problem, but how much ? 5 $ he said. 5 !! I exclaimed are you crazy, we payed one $ from our hotel to here ! OK he said, 1.50 $, no I said, 1 $ and not a cent more.
Come in, he smiled and slapped with the hand on the front seat. We sat down and admired the interior of his taxi. Silver shining plastic carpets (very chic) beautiful covers on the seats and ...
Mickey Mouse as cover for the head support. While he was driving in this crazy traffic, honking and gesticulating with his hands while talking, he also put on music for us. I know a few words in arabic, and the most important one is of course : "I love you", or "I like you" which means"Habibi" and which you hear in every song. So we sang with him "Habibi, habibi, until we arrived, had a nice but dangerous ride and waved good bye.
While you are reading this (or not) I sit in the airplane back to Brussels !
