ROMAN NUMBER X

If I would have titled this post an "X" post, I would have all porno spammers as "anonymous" in my comments ! And as it would be a big deception for them I don't do it.

X stands for so many things ! For example if you buy a cloth size XL it means that you are a little extra large, but if you read XL as a Roman number it would only be 40, which is a rather little size in Europe.

In Roman numbers X stands for 10. Fortunately since the 14th century, Roman numerals were largely abandoned in favor of Arabic numerals ! Fortunatly, otherwise XXX +V would be 35 imagine the space it would take on a paper. Today you still find Roman letters for Kings and Queens (George V,  Elizabeth II) There is no King or Queen who made it until X = 10 ! as far as I know.

X also stands for anonymous. "Mrs X  and her lovers" would be an attractive book title.

And then why Malcolm Little who is not well known under this name, became Malcolm X ? In his autobiography, he explained why: "The Muslim's 'X' symbolized the true African family name that he never could know. For me, my 'X' replaced the white slavemaster name of 'Little' which some blue-eyed devil named Little had imposed upon my paternal forebears."

With all these Xplanations I wish you to reach the age of XC (90) at least !
