FUN MONDAY - Laundry

Our host of this week Janice proposes following topic :

Everyone has laundry. Where do you do yours? Show us your Laundry room, or where you go to get those clothes clean! Photos, please.

I don't have a special laundry room, never had. The washing machine is in the kitchen and the dryer in the basement. Anyway now that we are only the two of us and are not working anymore, I don't have a lot of laundry to do. Most of the time it's all three weeks.

It's not a big deal either, I push on the button and then I continue my blogging !

and this is the place where I do the laundry, there is just one basket ready to be washed.

  3. We do our laundry everyday because there's five of us in the family (Me & hubby, 2 daughters & my MIL)....usually she does the washing during the week and when she goes back to her own house over the weekend, I'll do the laundry :)

  6. Mine is downstairs in with the cars. I put it on and then forget to take it out. Mine doesn't ring a bel when its finished.

  7. My husband changes clothes at least twice a day - and my son is pretty filthy. And apparently neither one of them believes in hanging up towels to dry so they can be used again - so I ALWAYS have a lot of laundry!!! I think it would be easier to do if the washer was in the kitchen, but I rather like keeping it separate from where I am doing other things.

  9. I forgot to mention that mine plays lovely little bell sound - a tune - when finishedd.

I like my front loader because it is easier on the clothes than the agitation in the top loader.

your wash machine is camouflaged in your kitchen.

  11. I do laundry once or twice a week. Having your washer in the kitchen is pretty handy...you can get your laundry starte while your having your coffee. BTW love your eating area, so cute n cozy.

  12. We always wait until there's a load ready before using the washer. It varies according to how much time has been spent gardening and how many mucky things there are to wash.
Himself learnt to 'pilot' the old machine before I retired. Guess who hasn't bothered to fathom out the new one LOL

  13. Laundry every 3 weeks??? *eyes POPping!* Now I am realllllllly jealous! Even MORE jealous than I am of your travels! That is crazy! With Just Dennis, Mom & I, I still do laundry at least twice a week! Just clothes! And THEN there are towels and sheets too! Ugh! HOW do you DO it???

  14. I wish I had my machine in the kitchen. The contractors never think of the woman when they build these homes and today they are narrower and taller lol

  15. It definitely could be a lot worse! My diapers take a couple of steps to wash, but definitely a lot better than washing them by hand!

  17. Those front loaders are very popular! Being in a family of 4, I usually wash about 6 loads a week!
