Today is "All Saints Day" which is a day off in most of the European countries. Belgium is 100 % catholic and on this day people are going to the cimetary to remember the death.

13 things about automn

1. Days get shorter

2. Leaves get a dirty yellow

3. Trees start their striptease

4. It is getting cold, humid and foggy

5. I can't sit outside anymore

6. I have to wear warm clothes

7. I have to put the heating on

8. I can't chat with my neighbor anymore over the fence

9. I (no ! the husband has) have to put the garden furniture away

10. I have to clean the grass, entrance and sidewalk from leaves

11. My cats also prefer to sleep inside, they don't like automn either

12. When I look outside I get depressed

13. I would love to skip this season

And that's why I go on holidays ! At least it is sunny in Egypt and over 30°C (82F) !

The arrow shows you Hourghada, that's where I will go tomorrow afternoon !

Boy do I agree!
I hate giving up my sandals.
I hate wearing stockings.
I hate cold weather.
I hate winter.
I hate wind.
I hate giving up my pastel colors.

Oh, I so agree with the weather/season. I would like to skip this too. It's mainly grey and rains, how fun is that? (Besides jumping in the water... *giggles*)

Sounds nice with "a little warmth" in Egypt... *sigh*

No T13 at my place today, I'm exhausted after the party and other happenings - Miss Ass. Lifecruiser is in hospital again, but this time in another one so we have hope of actually getting help this time - after 1,5 years of ambulance rides and bumping in/out of hospital....

...and my Mom is having birthday (81). So we're going out buying birthday cakes and to congratulate her.

Last year on her birthday it was ice chaos here in Stockholm, it took us nearly 5 hours to drive a path that normally without traffic takes 20 minutes!

Hey, I love autumn. It's winter I can't stand (smile). But really, as long as you're breathing life is good in any season, don't you think? (L0L)

Come, come, now ladies! Autumn isn't so bad. After all it is when I was born! LOL!!! And think of all the beautiful trees here in New Hampshire, all bright and cheery!
Have fun in Egypt, Gattina!!!

Hi Gattina, I like autumn climate still warm days, but prefer spring getting warmer and ready for summer...
Have a great holiday...

I actually love this time of year. My favorite thing to do at this time is take a mountain ride so I can view how beautiful the scenery becomes. I get more sad when everything dies in the winter.
Thanks for stopping by my blog

The Philippines is predominantly Catholic so today's also a day off for the whole country and people flock to the cemetery too to visit the graves of our dead relatives.

I actually love autumn because of the colors and it's a memorable season for me :) But I do understand that there are things not so good about it too.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Happy Thursday!

Wow! You clean up well! I admire those who can redecorate their blogs because I don't have a clue how to. I like the idea of the trees doing strip tease. I feel so bad for them when their naked and its cold.

I DO love autumn - but I can do without WINTER! Either way though ... I would LOVE to be WITH you in Egypt!!! Pleeeeeeease pack me in your suitcase!

We pretty much just have Autumn and summer here, so I love me some autumn. Of course it only lasts about a month and you never really have to put the shorts and sandals away.

Don't get me wrong - I think that really sucks as I love winter.

Have fun on your holiday!

Autumn is not my favorite either. We've already had snow here in Denver. Sigh.

I enjoy all the seasons, they mark the passage of time and each one offers something unique and beautiful.

Enjoy your trip to Egypt. Happy TT!

I enjoy the autumn, but spring is my favorite I think, when things begin to get green and grow again!

I don't mind fall as much as I do winter. I don't love being super cold-- the heating going up-- the dark dreary days... ugh.

fall can be pretty but I am definitely a summer girl. =)

Please Gattina before traveling to la mer rouge come at dracula's castle to see the end of Dracula's cousin!

I'm completely opposite - autumn is my favorite time of year. Love the cooler days, the glorious reds/oranges/golds and the feeling of 'something coming' - mainly Christmas! Going to Egypt is pretty amazing, though.

All Saints Day is my Gram's birthday - today she turns 93. We're celebrating her today.

I hate that it's getting colder. I prefer Spring to any season but the coldness of winter is the worst in my opinion.

Great TT. Thanks for sharing.
