In order to protect the small shops which have to remain closed because of the lockdown, the supermarkets had to cover the items with plastic so that they could not be sold.

That's a good idea in supermarkets. Supermarkets here made a killing as shops selling discounted cigarettes had to close.

ReplyDeleteI find this really strange. My first thought was it was to stop people from touching things.
ReplyDeleteBarriers were used to stop people going down those aisles that were not food locally.

ReplyDeleteHere they put barricades on aisles with non essential goods, so basically the same idea. That s definitely the flag of 2020!
