In order to protect the small shops which have to remain closed because of the lockdown, the supermarkets had to cover the items with plastic so that they could not be sold.

That's a good idea in supermarkets. Supermarkets here made a killing as shops selling discounted cigarettes had to close.

ReplyDeleteBarriers were used to stop people going down those aisles that were not food locally.
