13 Workshops in my Summer Art School in Libramont (Belgium)
I attended photography
1. Photography (we were 10 students)
2. Rock etc.
3. Painting in Oil, Acrylic, Pastel
4. Felt (here creating a shoe)
5. Graphic
6. Violon and piano
7. Musical or "singing" stones (an art coming from Vietnam)
8. Rap
9. Puppets
10. Tagging (Graffiti)
11. Drawing
12. Ceramic
13. Paint in writing (my friend who came with me)
and there are more : fairy tales, folk songs, singing, music and song, rythm without instrument, oil painting, sculpture ....
During the year it is a Technical College, for future brick layers, painters, electricians, plumbers etc. Only in July it is used as an Art summer school.
I have been in this summer Art school already several times but always for painting. About my photography workshop and the campus I will write seperately.

Wow, there are certainly lots of courses to chooose from. I'd like the painting and photography courses.

What a great initiative! I know there are schools like that in Amsterdam, but I never find the time to join in. I should though! It really sounds and looks like fun.

ReplyDeleteSo THAT is tagging! IMAGINE teaching a course in graffiti! We seem to have MANY students who have taken that course here in America too!
ReplyDeleteThat school does look like a LOT of fun! Is EVERY course a full week long? And all day? Or is it possible to go and take 2 or 3 classes in one week?
How cool is this! I would so love to take most of those classes!
