and then the trees become naked leaving their leaves everywhere. The joy of fall is then, to slip on wet leaves and hopefully don't break a leg or an arm ! A dangerous season which I don't like.

ReplyDeleteI rather love Autumn.Not humid and oppressive as in the torrid days of summer, and its so pretty. We do get wet leaves, but the worst part for me id=s our black walnut tree, which rains down all its bounty of huge green and black balls...which makes it like walking on a carpet of ball bearings! And woe if any would fall on the car windshield. Phooey.
