We had spent Easter with our son an family in Amsterdam. On Easter Sunday as the sun was shining we made an excursion to Volendam.
Volendam is a fishermen village in North Holland, 20 kilometres north of Amsterdam. Sometimes called "the pearl of the Zuiderzee". It is a popular tourist attraction in the Netherlands, well-known for its old fishing boats and the traditional clothing still worn by some residents. Read more
