FUN MONDAY - My coffee mug
Ever since mugs moved into Belgium in the 80th, I banned all coffee cups for our daily use and replaced them by mugs which are more practical and they are also so nice, can be personalized or funny.
Last months my favorite cup, an orange one with a cute cat on it (of course) fell on the tiles and broke. For a couple of weeks I was looking for one to replace it, but as it is always, when you are looking for something special you don't find it and when you don't look at all it's suddenly there. And that happened to me last week and gave me the idea for this Fun Monday.
I found two similar mugs, one with a red and one with a blue handle. The red one is now for coffee and the blue one for tea.
and here is my coffee mug, the other one for tea hangs together with different mugs on a holder.
I can only confirm that my coffee tastes much better in my new mug !
Please note that our next Fun Monday host on May 5th is Sayre
I also wanted to suggest that Fun Monday topics should be simple, funny and easy as the name says. A lot of people hesitated to participate because the topics became too complicated and therefore Fun Monday nearly died.

I love your mugs. Thanks for hosting this week. It was a "Fun" topic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I knew you would have a cat's face. Do Arthur, Rosie and Pookie get jealous that you don't put their mug on the mug? LOL Have a great Monday :)
ReplyDeletecute mug!
ReplyDeleteNice necklaces with their little fish charms--how appropriate. And your cats took the trouble of putting on some blush--even for early morning coffee! :-) BTW, your coffee is so much stronger and more grown up than mine.
ReplyDeleteMy mug is posted at Summit Musings
Love your mugs. It's weird now but whenever I see anything with a cat on it, I think of you. I do have some quirky cats objects around the house too. I need to get round to taking some pictures of them.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, the mug decoration is adorable!! love the necklace, too cute.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the link widget, too, happy (and fun!) Monday!!
Nice mugs! Love your mug tree. I received lots of mugs with cats' on it from friends and colleagues. Think I got a dozen or more over the years but they are kept hidden in the cupboard as I use one or two only.
ReplyDeleteI adore your mug! My daughter loves cats too. Thanks for hosting....I enjoyed this Fun Monday.
ReplyDeleteYour kitty mugs are just purrrrfect for you! I love them. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI love your mugs with the adorable cats on them!
ReplyDeleteI want to start a theme for my home too. Makes it easier to buy crockery and stuff for the house. :)
Oh good grief! I came here this morning and got so excited over your linky with pictures included that I started visiting people right away and forgot to COMMENT ON YOURS! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new cat mugs! I am positively certain though, that you have at least 100 varieties of cat mug! Surely you MUST! Just WAIT until Amanda hears that YOUR mug was brand new! Ohhhhh boy... You're gonna GET it! LOL!
I got home late last night and didn't get my mug into the computer.. hee hee.
ReplyDeleteThis was cute -- and I did have a mug displayed sometime ago that had moose turds in it. However, I don't drink my coffee out of it.
I should know that your mug would have a cat displayed on it. Even tho I am now a bird woman, there was a day that I loved cats more than anything else.
Hi Gattina, do you mind my asking why you moved to Belgium in the 80s?... was it because you met Mr Gattina?... How does Belgium compare to Germany? And Britain? Don't tell me, it is less well organized than Germany but a lot cleaner and more ahead of the times than the UK!!
ReplyDeleteps I'm reading Sneewittchen in the German.. I think that is how the Grimms spell it... Snow White (haven't come across any Zwergs yet!!)
The mugs are so cute and having different coloured band is so neat to have a separate Coffee and Tea mug.
ReplyDeletevery nice coffee mug!
ReplyDeleteI am sure my coffee will taste differently in it!
thank you for sharing.
