WEEKLY WINNERS - Barter shop
More participants here at Sarcastic Mom Weekly winners
We have a shop here called "Troc" which means "barter". People who want to sell their furniture because they have to move or just for other reasons, put it here for sale. There is almost everything you can buy from antiques to new stuff, from typewriters to chinese plates or african masks.
Sometimes I like to go there, just to have a look on all the things which are sold and sometimes I even found something to buy like a little side table.
Besides the shop is a restaurant. As you can see the weather was very bad !
There are two floors. The cats were all for sale but quite expensive
from the first floor I had this nice overlook. You really have to search in all angles and corners because there is no order at all. It's a real mess.
Some of the furniture was really very beautiful and almost new. Prices very interesting.
A vase from China
and some other funny items !
This Halloween witch was as big as I and costed 130 € ! which is quite a lot.
a bellow as table !
Need some Golf clubs ?
or a sewing machine
a "new" computer perhaps ?
It's very easy to spent a couple of hours in there !

What a great way for recycling! And more environment friendly too.
ReplyDeleteIn Norway, its become very popular to do that 'garage sale' on the net.
Wishing you a great Sunday and a wonderful week ahead.
Looks like a fun shop!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like our "Trade Center" here in our town. But looks like you have a lot BETTER things to shop for....to me, in our town, the stuff they try to sell is junk. LOL
ReplyDeleteBut look at those cats?!!! You didn't get one for your collection?
Now that Witch would have caught my eye. LOL
Have a terrific Sunday Gattina.
What a great store. I would love it in there!
ReplyDeleteAh! It's a giant Yard Sale! How fun!
ReplyDeleteoh that looks like a place I would love to shop at - I have a sewing machine like that!
ReplyDeletethat's nice stuff... so it goes to the person who puts in the highest offer? or is it "prix fixe"? but If the latter why would it be called "Troc"??
ReplyDeleteIt must be fun to browse around in there!
ReplyDeleteoh i love to stumble upon such shops. i go home and accumulate more junk which the hubby hates ;)
ReplyDeleteDoes look like a great place to find things. The problem with places like that in America is you need your own truck to haul the big furniture.
ReplyDeleteI love shops like that, Gattina and we have them here, usually run by charities. I found some great things in Op shops, as they are called here.
