SHOW AND TELL - Yearly Painting Exposition
More participants are here at Kelly's
Last weekend my painting group had its yearly exposition. The flower arrangements I made for that I showed already here last week.
A picture of the group which was published in the "Waterloo News"
The "comment" book where people were invited to leave their comments
At the entrance were these masks one of my group had made for Halloween. It gave a special joyful touch to the exposition.
and that's how the room looked like before people were arriving !

Here is my oldest class mate. She is 94 (!), together with her daughter, granddaughter and grandgrand daughters.

My men and I
We had a lot of visitors and also a lot of fun. It is not so important for us to sell a painting, but more to show what we have done during the year and also the fun we had by doing it.

It sounds like a fun yearly activity! a vernisage is always interesting :)
ReplyDeleteMarvelous exhibition! I want the secret of your friend Ilona! She's beautiful! And you had your two men with you! Ton grand Manitou semble plus décontracté que le miens ici! Je veux bien faire un échange de Manitou! Bravo pour la déco d'Halloween!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a busy bee Gattina! This exposition looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteWonderful exhibition Gattina~~~
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your Show & Tell - looks like you all had a great time!
ReplyDeleteLovely! LOVELY!!! You know - it never even occurred to me that you're artwork was for SALE! I thought it was ONLY for show... I actually did sell one of my drawings one time... and now I wish I hadn't!!! I want it BACK! LOL! (but it was fun knowing that someone appreciated it enough to pay for it...)
ReplyDeleteGreat wall paper! That would make good wrapping paper. It's never too sad about Halloween being over because pumpkin pies stay seasonal all the way through the new year.
ReplyDeleteWonderful exhibition. Love the welcome masks idea and all the other decorations. And the paintings, I only wish I could see more of them. I did spot Rosie on the wall there :-)
ReplyDeleteA lot of wonderful paintings there. I wish I could have seen them all up close. I love paintings.
