We should follow the example settled by animals and we should all be friends :) By the way, have fun in England but take your umbrella just in case. Wish you sunshine and a happy ww
Does that ever bring back memories. We had a calico mama cat (named Kitty Babe) who gave birth every spring. This was in the 50's, long before the dawn of spays and neuters came to old farmers minds.
The smell was pleasant and distinct. The feel of their soft noses on our cheeks is sending tickles down my spine. Kitty Babe would mewl short little sounds that was probably "mama's here" messages.
The first thing that popped into my head when I saw these pics was "The Cat who ate the canary". Then I realized that the kitty is actually playing momma to the birds!
She is so cute & the babies too. We have two tabby's 1 male & 1 female, their brother's & sister's from different litters. The mama cat, we don't know what happened to her. She went out one day and never came back. We miss her just as much.
I think at times we have a farm, with the animals the kids bring home. Were now standing at 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 frogs & 1 turtle. Happy family around here.

My goodness! That is one busy mama! The babies are adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the last picture the best. She's listening hard to what the little bird is whispering to her.
ReplyDeleteSomehow these don't seem to go together. What a good cat not to kill all the chicks. Great shots Gattina. Have a great WW. :)

ReplyDeleteOoops, some kind of a glitch... I wasn't finished commenting, haha
ReplyDeleteThese photos are soooo cute. I've seen some strange things, but this is incredible. Thanks for sharing it, Gattina.
That's a cute, confusing picture!
ReplyDeleteHad to look close because their colors are so much the same :)
~Answer to your question:
Both of the dogs have homes! Their stories are below my WW post earlier in the week :)
What an amazing cat!! Such sweet babies too. I love your photo on Thursday Thirteen too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your compliment on my WW; sorry I'm late getting around to see yours.
Have a great day!
I wonder how she succeed to push down her natural hunt instincts.... Unbelievable what motherhood feelings can do :-)
