SUNDAY SELECTIONS

As I am still in my self chosen retreat, I dig in my old or not so old photos, because I have decided not to paint anymore but rather take more pictures and fool around with them. Today and tomorrow I am locked in (not down) because I had my 3rd vaccine and feel dizzy and have the impression that I can't keep my balance and I don't want to fall of course. Here are a few pictures of my grandson which I like very much

They are all taken at different dates and moments

SUNDAY SELECTIONS

I welcome 2022 by watching private fireworks from my 3rd floor terrace ! Normally fire work was not allowed, but some people couldn't resist and I was very happy about that ! I had never seen a firework on the same level as from where I stood !

The sky is getting slowly dark

and this poor girl ran away at the first boom and hid under my bed !

SUNDAY SELECTION

While everybody is waiting for Christmas trees, father Christmas, angels and bulbs, wreath and candles, I am longing for sea and sun !

SUNDAY SELECTION

The bad weather took away my pleasure to go out to take pictures for my Blog ! What should I walk around in the rain and take pictures of  landscapes, buildings or animals and perhaps catch a cold  not the Covid I was vaccinated twice and expect my 3rd vaccin. (.... to be continued !)

Then I saw owls in a TV animal show and had an idea. Why not take a picture of the screen? And here is the resul t! A "friendly" looking mother brings her baby a mouse!

SUNDAY SELECTIONS

A few years ago I visited the South of Morocco, and we drove through the Atlas montains It was very beautiful to see, but I learned that it was the poorest part of Morroco at that time without electricity. Meanwhile they have. The time seems to stand still in this area.

The Atlas Mountains extend some 2,500km across northwestern Africa, spanning Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, separating the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastline from the Sahara Desert. Actually a series of ranges with diverse terrain, climates and wildlife, the Atlas are dotted with Berber villages and riven with canyons and ravines. The highest peak is 4,167m Toubkal, which lies within Morocco's Toubkal National Park.
