Between these two pictures 50 years went by, I had never dreamed that 50 years later I would celebrate a Golden Wedding in the City Hall of our little town Waterloo together with 20 other couples invited by our mayor !

I live in Waterloo (Belgium) where Napoleon lost his battle. I am German, but have lived most of my life in Belgium. I was happily married for 54 years with an Italian, who was the love of my life. Now I am a widow.

A DREAM CAME TRUE ?
