FUN MONDAY

Karmyn wants to know :

WHAT'S GROWING IN YOUR GARDEN? (or yard, or patio pot). Please post a picture.

This is a very easy Fun Monday for me. In my garden nothing grows besides grass, various bushes and above all weeds.

even on our patio. There are also 3 flower pots standing there, but that's it. I have no green thumb or I don't want one, I love to sit in our garden and being outside, but working in there ... that's another story !

This afternoon I take the Eurostar (train) to the UK and will be for a week near Eastbourne at the South East coast of England.

I will blog then from there, maybe I can already get a connection in the train that would be great then time goes by faster.

  1. I like the looks of the narrow passage in the upper left corner of you photo collage, Gattina. Is that a tall green privacy hedge between your house and the neighbors? If so, good idea. Enjoy your English holiday. I still need to take a ride on the Eurotrain.

Love your green, green yard. And such wonderful privacy with all the hedges.

  6. You always make Belgium look so neat and clean like it is a well run country. I know you get things done in spite of a government which does not work so well.

I have been reading about the Dutroux murder cases and discover your police forces don't always work well. Has Belgium recovered from the shock of this dreadful case and made some improvements in policing? I cannot find out if people socially and polically higher than Nihoul were ever found to be involved.

  7. My grandmother also loves to be outside, but at this point is unable to work in her garden. So her garden consists of gravel (no mowing), a few bushes (little maintenance), a couple of flowers and a bench. And she loves it. Over the rock wall is a horse pasture with a big tree right at the wall, so she has plenty of green to look at without having to take care of it!

  10. Unfortunately, I think weeds are a part of every garden. :)

  11. I was writing my comment and I had a power failure -- frightened me and my little Curlymop who is sitting on the floor playing.

anyway -- your yard is peaceful and inviting.

I am on a weed hunt everytime I got out the back door. A close neighbor has quite a field of them and the seeds blow into our yard with every breeze.

  15. Enjoy your holiday!

I've given up trying to fight the weeds. They win every single time - now I just try and pick the ones that get the most annoying.
