13 pictures of my first day in England
1. I took the Eurostar in Brussels and 3 1/2 h later, I was in my friends home in Langley/Eastbourne (My Countries & cities blog)
2. I found my friend Sophie
3. The house hadn't changed
4. Pepsi was surprised to see me
5. A new fence around the garden

8. and other neighbours
9. At her daughter's in London a neighbour brought delcious arabic cake when he heard that I was there

11. A pub where we had lunch
12. The 3 grandchildren sitting in front of the door
13. and our host Tony, with a rapid of the children.
It had been a lovely afternoon.
Holidays, friends and the English countryside. What more could you want.

ReplyDeleteIt's been about as long as Woodstock since I've been in England. I love the way countries are so close and easy to travel to there.
