1. What's something in your house you'd like to get rid of but can't?
My garden (yard) ! I have no green thumb and it gets harder and harder to entertain it when you hate garden work ! I had made it at easy as possible but still !
2. When is the last time you experienced a sense of nostalgia? Elaborate.
Eastbourne
Each time I think of Eastbourne and London, which I used to visit each year in August. This will be the first time since 2008 I am not going. I will do the tour around the Northern Countries.
3. You're only allowed three apps on your smart phone or tablet...which three do you keep?
I would keep the mobile phone app, my calendar, and internet of course !
4. July 11th is National Blueberry Muffin Day. Who knew? Do you like blueberry muffins? If you were going to have a muffin would blueberry be your choice? What's the last thing you baked?
My mouth is watering only when I think of Blueberry muffins ! Unfortunately they are completely unknown in Belgium and I can only find them in an English shop. Each time I go to the UK I never miss to eat a blueberry muffin !!
5. What's the biggest way you've changed since you were a child? In what way are you still the same?
That's a difficult question ! I think I was quite ugly when I was a child and that changed once I became a teenager. I also changed my life motto to "Live and let live" and only give advices when I am asked for. Otherwise I am still the same. (I think)
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I thought going shopping this afternoon, but I better stay home. Tonight at 8 pm is the football (soccer) World Cup transmission on huge screens in the city center and as there will be thousands of people coming, they start already arriving in the afternoon to visit Waterloo and to find a good place. The city will be packed, I better stay home !
Belgium (chips or "
How funny about blueberry muffins! In China, the few times I tried a blueberry muffin, it was more like a corn muffin with one blueberry in the middle! It's just not their thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you: If the city will be a madhouse, I prefer staying in. Enjoy the World Cup! Also, I kill plants. I think your garden looks great!
I understand about the gardens. I think mine gets a little simpler every year because I just don't want to deal with as much as I used to.
ReplyDeleteBlueberries are in season here and I will be going to my stepdad's home today to pick some. I don't make muffins, but I will be making a very rich, muffin like zucchini/pineapple/blueberry bread.
I think I'd stay at home as well. I'd don't care for large crowds.
ReplyDeleteThe picture in your random thought made me chuckle.
Hope you have a lovely day.
Such a beautiful photo from Eastbourne.
ReplyDeleteI love blueberry muffin, too. Love banana nut as well :-)
It's hot here so gardening is a challenge. We are still learning what survives in the heat. Sorry for the way the match ended. We're cheering for England so are excited to watch them play (on TV) today. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is very pretty. But that being said, I understand not liking to garden, which is why the only plants I have are in flower pots. Blueberry muffins are delicious, but banana nut are my favorites I think.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Your garden is beautiful! I wish I could get into Football (Soccer)...I just do not find it enjoyable to watch at all - American football is another story - that is my favorite! Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your motto of only giving advice when asked. I wish my mother would abide by that!
ReplyDeleteQuite a feline face!
ReplyDeleteI prefer blueberry muffins; I had one this morning.
Good spot Arthur. I just made mulberry muffins , same recipe as blueberry, but I used mulberries instead.
ReplyDeleteI have been glued to my TV all summer because of the World Cup games. I am so excited to see who will win! I'm kind of pulling for France because I am 50% Parisian; however, I wouldn't be upset to see England win.
ReplyDeleteUsual when one goes shopping they end up spending money.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
The new sleeping quarters made me smile.
ReplyDeleteWell, we were rooting for Belgium, but alas, it was not to be!
ReplyDeleteI like blueberries, but there is a big difference between the blueberries here and back in Norway. They were much tastier in Norway! Mind you, that could be because I picked them myself...
Reminds me of my Grandmothers cat what was all white

What would I do if I couldn't get, make or eat a blueberry muffin? I would perish! Not really, but I do so love them. Fortunately, I live in New Hampshire, which is full of Blueberries!
