Carrick-A-Rede is famous for its rope bridge, (unique in Ireland) – which connects the mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island.
The island until recently was an active salmon fishery, with an old fisherman’s bothy, old ropes, and nets still visible.

Oh but it is so beautiful there -- I could probably walk the bridge (since I will never be lucky enough to be there, we will not be able to prove that, so it is a safe thing for me to say ;>)) -- I did walk one across a canyon in New Mexico, but Bill could not. That was a different thing in our family as he is almost always braver.
