WORDLESS WEDNESDAY - WEDNESDAY HODGEPODGE

Nice place to eat

1. When was the last time you chatted with a neighbor? About what? (sharing that last bit is optional)

Yesterday, of course they asked me to chat about my tour around Ireland

2. River, lake, ocean, or waterfall...which one are you most like and why?

That's a difficult question I love them all equally, a river because I love to watch the running water, a lake because it's so peaceful, an ocean because you look over it and there is no limit.

3. July 13 is National Delaware Day. Ever been to Delaware? Delaware is called 'the first state' because it was the first to declare independence from the British. What's your state's nickname and does that moniker make sense to you? If you were in charge, what nickname would you give your home state?

Yes I know where Delaware is, I am not like a certain Mr. Trump whose knowledge in geography is rather limited. Ever since I was in Ireland I would call my city "Bottlefield", as the Irish guide pronounced "Battlefield". And I live on Waterloo's battlefield.

4. What dish did you contribute to the last pot luck meal you attended? Do you have a go-to recipe for pot luck suppers?

Usually I make a pasta salad, everybody likes it and I have different recepe

5. What is your number one tip for a brand new parent?

None, they won't listen anyway

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I have the impression that in my head there is a big mess. 7 days travelling around Ireland and then sort out your pictures, is quite a challenge. Fortunately I had named them, otherwise I would never find out which rock belongs to which place as it was mostly the beautiful landscapes we saw.

  3. I like the way the cafe is wrapped around the corner. I loved our two weeks in Ireland nearly 15 years ago now.

  4. Please don't tell us about each rock at each place.

  5. I don't know my neighbours. Well apart from those upstairs and they are my landlord and his brother. I never talk to the brother, apart from hello and goodbye and when I took to my landlord, it's usually at work!!

  6. River, lake, and ocean, I like them all, too, for the view. Though, while I don't have problem going into ocean as long as I can see the bottom, the idea of just touching the lake scares me!

  7. Your answer to number 5 made me smile, so so true.

  8. I wonder what your friends think of "Bottlefield" lol. I agree, sorting out photos can be time consuming. By the way your link on the Hodgepodge site doesn't link back here but your blog comes up in my reading list so I found the post that way.

  9. Well as long as it's fresh.

  10. Somehow, fresh garbage does not sound so appetizing! LOL Yes, it pays to make notes as to when/where photos were taken when several days and lots of places are involved.

  12. I enjoyed reading your Hodgepodge answers and all about your trip to Ireland. Looks like a wonderful trip to a place I would love to visit someday. You were wise to label all of your photos. That's something I need to get into the habit of doing.

Yes, I also found that your Hodgepodge link on Joyce's blog does not work. It just links to a search page. I found you by doing a search.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  13. Right back into the swing of things! you are so efficient getting your photos sorted and foldered right away -- and now already blogging about what's happening in the present.

I'm still doing that on my little tiny trip (compared to yours) and still blogging about the past. All this while Bill is planning our next adventure -- he lives in the future, I live in the past. And in the present somehow we visit family, dinner gets eaten and dishes get washed. I am not sure how. ;>)
