FUN MONDAY - My all time favorite SHOES.

Mariposa is trying to reanimate Fun Monday, so please go to her blog and participate. There you will also find all topics for August.

Thom asked as for Fun Monday in May about our Shoes and what we are thinking about them. I then was shocked when I saw the number of shoes I have, which I had completely forgotten.

I don't have all time favorite shoes, they are all my favorites, because the first thing which matters to me is that they are as comfortable as my bed !

Then of course it depends on the season. These are for spring and summer, although the red once I also wear as slippers in the house.

and these are the once for when it is very warm.

  3. I have one pair of shoes that are my favorite. They are simple, plain, black shoes, but they are very comfortable and I wear them a lot. In fact I need to replace them soon.

  5. I love shoes - what a great idea to have this post!

BTW I just replied to the comment you left on my blog. Since I'm not sure you read the replies to your posts, I thought I'd copy it here too, although it's totally irrelevant to shoes :-)

It is possible to have tomato salad with mozzarella. "Greek salad" doesn't exist in Greece, any more than "Italian pizza" exists in Italy. If you ordered a horiatiki ("village salad", which is what's known as "Greek salad" outside Greece) you would have got the one with the tomato, cucumbers, pepper, olives and feta. Other than that, it's perfectly possible to have non-Greek food in Greece - pizza, spaghetti, burgers, chips are all very common and so are different types of salad (some of which may have mozzarella in them).

The Greek food in Brussels is OK, not 100% authentic (Greek gyros is never made with beef!!!), but better than what passes for "Greek food" in the UK for sure. I can't speak about the Greek food in Waterloo, as I've never been.

  6. Red polka dot sandals--you go girl! Just what I'd expect from an artist. What is your preferred traveling shoe, Gattina? so important for the comfort of a trip.

  9. I think the older we get, the kinder we are to our feet because we begin to realize how important they are to our overall well-being.

I never wear heels anymore - or anything that pinches or binds. I may have unattractive feet, but they are functional and I intend to keep them that way!
