WOW...that's the actual place where the Battle of Waterloo took place? Fantastic. Why is it I didn't think you got snow there. I thought it was just rain for some reason. Silly me. Wonderful pictures Madame Chat. Ya done did good :) Have a great Sunday :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely scenes there. It looked a steep climb up to the lion (with white fur). The trees look so elegant without their leaves and powdered with snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wintery shots.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the first two shots. Stunning!

ReplyDeleteBrave you, for venturing out in this cold!

ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love the shot coming back from the battlefield - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I was born in Belgium, lived there for 9 years after that. Never thought of it as being that nice under the snow! Or maybe Waterloo is just nicer than bxl...
ReplyDeleteNice shots!!!
Great shots of the Waterloo battlefield, Gattina! Thanks for commenting at my blog and wishing me well during my angiogram! I'm back to blogging! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so amazing! What a neat place to visit and the snow and colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour world is really LOVELY in white! And those trees are beautiful! Are they weeping willows? I don't think I've ever noticed them in winter before...
ReplyDeleteI remember it was hard for us to find our way there. We could see the lion in the distance but not the road, we got lost in the fields!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr ... Very cold!
ReplyDeleteBut beautiful :-)
Such lovely winter photos, even though I want spring now :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the trees, that's almost are orange against the white!
