these sculptures can take away the soreness of your feet from walking:)... and put back the urge to see what lies beyond the winding, narrow streets :)
Well now... those are some interesting works of art... to be sure! I'm particularly curious about the caged snail... You know, I just LOVE sculpture - it is probably one of my favorite forms of art -- and not "statues" like of generals on horses... I mean they have their place too -- but THIS kind of stuff! If I happened past either one of these figures, I SURELY would have had to stop and take pictures too! Was there ANYTHING (sign) there that told what they were about or for?
Hi Gattina! I'm sorry I've not visited your blog for ages and am rectifying the situation here and now! I've scrolled down and read a few posts back. I will continue as soon as I've finished my comment here I just LOVE the post about the rain - the fact that Arthur loves the rain and the other cats don't. The fact that it is raining, raining, raining. I sympathise as we have thundershowers and then beautiful blue skies. But I think you found that in Egypt? Nevertheless, you are a treat and I love reading your blog. Off to read some more. (((Hugs))) From a Sunny South Africa (Jo!)
