More participants here
40 years ago on December 6, somebody took this picture when we came out of the church.
We married twice, that's why probably it still last, on October 11 the civil marriage and then the big thing in December. We had to find a date where everybody could come.
for this event I got this cat series
As love is going through the stomac, I offered a Christmas Pudding and a Ferrari key holder
Our son and DIL, living in Amsterdam, sent us this wonderful bouquet
and here is a picture of how everything looks at his final place

Happy Anniversary Gattina! Wishing you many more years together in happiness and in health.
ReplyDeleteGattina...I had forgotten that Mr. G is Italian. This no doubt [Befana] brought back good memories for you with your son then. Bud was really pleased to have found this figurine to add to my collection of 'foreign' china dolls I have.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I'm married 25 years and it seems a so loooong time, I can't imagine 40 years! Congratulation for a very big accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteWhy ever did you wait until nearly a week later to tell us? I do hope your anniversary was well celebrated! When Amanda and Hector FIRST married, the went to the JP and had a civil ceremony with the intention of a big wedding several months later. The big wedding never materialized and eventually they divorced. The divorce didn't last and they ended up marrying again -- in ANOTHER civil ceremony that I again was NOT invited to! So my eldest and only married child has been married TWICE and I've never SEEN her married! LOL! I'm hoping for better luck with my other 3... although I'm not sure Derek will ever marry.
ReplyDeleteHappy 40th Anniversary!!! That's an incredibly long marriage in these days.
ReplyDelete*hugs*
A little bird (Thom) said it's your 40th wedding anniversary - congratulations! It was our 35th anniversary on the 7th December. :)
