FUN MONDAY - I DOODLE
More participants here at {i}Post
{i} Post asks us to doodle this week ! We have to start with the number 9, for Nine Acres, of course. "Draw the number 9 in red and then use a different color for the rest of your doodling. That way we can all see where the original 9 was in your doodle. It is up to you how you incorporate the 9 into the doodle. It can look like something we know, or it can just be shapes. It can be colorful, or can be one color, besides the red 9."
When I read this, I thought I have to call my friend Ilona and discuss with her the beginning of the world until the end, or at least about some people.
This usually inspires me to doodle while I am on the phone. I did it in the past too when I was a secretary to a guy who dictated that slow that a snail could have participated in Formula 1 ! So while he was constructing his sentences I doodled, which of course didn't help him to form his phrases. The poor guy.
Of course I have always doodled cats ! and here is the result of my doodling while I was talking to Ilona.
The analysis wasn't very fruitful. I must be just a simple person . I draw mostly cats :
Doodles of cats need to be examined carefully. Is it playful in nature, or is it a spiteful/aggressive cat? The nature of the cat indicates it's meaning. So what am I ???
I draw ONE flower !
Most flowers are doodled by women, and are romantic in nature. Indicating a desire to blossom and be fruitful in life. (I don't have 10 children !)
The analysis doesn't talk about stickmen.

But what a variety of cats you can draw.! I do the same on the phone--when I see who's on the other end I grab a pen and pad and then sit back to listen. . .
ReplyDeleteOh yes, a cat person to be sure. I doodle flowers...all over everything...they're really decorative and if there are different coloured pens and pencils around, I colour them in!
ReplyDeleteNow I have a different way to draw a cat thanks to you and your number 9! I am so "talented" the only way I can draw one was using the number 8...:)
ReplyDeleteUntil today! Happy Monday !
wow! you are very creative on cat's drawing:D you have a various pictures of it. seems fun!
ReplyDeleteand... those cat is cute... ;)
ReplyDeleteThe stick man must mean that you have an identity crisis and you secretly want to be thin...no wait...it's probably that you want to chase Mr. Gattino around the house with a stick! And all the while you have this lone flower in your mouth and you're purring like a kitten. Sound about right? [kidding!]
ReplyDeleteHappy Fun Monday.
Your cats are happy and relaxed, so I wouldn't worry about what they say about cats! And your stick man - I'm still trying to decide if he looks happy or angry...
ReplyDeleteHere is my analysis! You are playful! Short and sweet. Your cats are cute and playful, and your stick man is jumping, and the flower says you have a desire to be even more playful! :0p
ReplyDeleteI doodle hearts!
ReplyDeleteoooh..I'm in lurve!
I agree with Devita...your cat drawings are very creative. You can publish a book on step-by-step guidelines for dozens of do-able cat doodles....
:)
MY analysis of your drawing is that you are JUMPING FOR JOY because your 5 cats didn't dig up your ONE flower! :) That's what I think!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it doesn't mention the stick man! He is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm just out hopping around looking at what everyone has doodled. There are some really fun ones out there. Compared to some mine is very boring.
ReplyDeleteGattina, those are beautiful cats :-) I can't draw a line to save my life... Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteWhen my son was very young we used to do "doodle art". In turn we would make a squiggle of a line and then the other person had to make it part of a line drawing with a couple of more strokes. He was willing to play this game for a long time. Quite often, cats emerged.
ReplyDeleteI think your cats are not aggressive...they look quite content!
ReplyDeleteI like how you incorporated the nine into a cat...with nine lives, perhaps?
The cats seem to be of a gentle nature. the stickman seams to be jumping for joy.
ReplyDeleteLove the cats!! Wonderful doodle. (And none of the cats look spiteful... I'm guessing you could never be spiteful. They look clever.)
ReplyDeleteI love your themed wallpaper... how do you do that?
Why am I not surprised that you drew cats? hahaha! Love them.
ReplyDeleteI did this one, too. I'm interested in all those cats. You have them in many different positions and sizes. I think that the stick man means "YaHoo!" ;D
