Their sandals look too modern. These must be photos from your recent trip. I'm glad you had such a good time, compared to your trip to Greece. Maybe we should get these Romans to challenge the Greeks!
This week's WW at SjP's is dedicated to finding Namia Vaught. I hope you and your readers will have the opportunity to stop by to see if you recognize her.
Hi Gattina....I wanted to tell you that I seem to always have some difficulty opening your blog. Has anyone else told you that? I was wondering if you have a large number of posts that show up on one page...thus slowing down the process? I had this issue with my blog a while back until I changed the number of posts to show on the page.
I have missed reading many of your posts because of this issue. I hope that all is well with you and your family. xoxo Grammie
i think they look convincing enough except for those flimsy sandals (i don't think they could march a long way with that) and the guy holding the knife by its blade (and not by the hilt) in the last photo :)... but i do hope you had a great time... verona... the home of romeo and juliet :)...
The first comment made me laugh. Interesting post.

I never met Roman Soldats in Italia! Just at the festival de Cannes, one time, in 2007!
