For our wedding anniversary Mr. Gattino offered me
this funny cat. It shakes when you touch it and inside I have put some fashion jewlery.
I love these wooden cats because they have such an elegant shape. It was of course also a gift from Mr. Gattino. Writing this suddenly I get suspicious, does he buy all these cats for himself and I am only a good excuse ? No matter what, they are nice !
These little cats look almost real but they are sitting in a treasure chest.
A friend of mine brought it from Poland.
For Christmas I got this cat from my son, it was a lemon transformed into a cat.
and this tall cat has the size of a four or five year old and watches over the living entry.
Those are cute. Hard to tell the real ones from the others.

It seems you have a never ending collection! I love those tall, elegant cats too.
ReplyDeleteMet my parents' cat but he didn't seem to like me...maybe because his first approach was to smell my toes, lol! He jumped from behind as I was seating reading the paper and reached for my hair...or maybe he was chasing a fly, my mom said. It truly scared me.
Another time he placed his paw AND fingernails on my knee, I just felt I shouldn't move to save my pants :)
Then I noticed the cat just would leave when "strangers" showed up...and I thought all cats were human friendly...
Just woke up...at 10 am! blame it on jet lag :)

ReplyDeleteInteresting cats. I had a cat collection when I was a teenager. I'm 71 now. I still have some of those cats and plan to put them on Show & Tell maybe next Friday. I visited Belgium briefly in 1999. I loved it. Would love to go back some day.
