Again an awful weather, very humid and foggy, it's now 3 weeks that we have this weather and no amelioration in view ! I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up the medication that the lung doctor had prescribed for me. Then I wanted to buy my fruits, but I felt so bad because I was so out of breath that I quickly drove back home and collapsed on the sofa.
Now twice per day I have to sit there with my mask for half an hour. I think it does me good, because I am less breathless.
I also watched the Trump show on TV and thought he should have been an entertainer, a sort of Charlie Chaplin. I only talk about the man because he makes me laugh, he certainly is a very good actor, entertainer, and talker but no politician. The funniest moment was when he tried to kiss Melania under her enormous hat, which hid her whole face. According to Mr. Google that means : "Headwear helps reduce stress levels" ! I hope dear husband didn't get a bruise.
Anyway, now I know how to dress not to be recognized as a spy.
Our days are all the same. In the morning, those who need it are cared for, the others do gymnastics, otherwise everyone does what they want.
We have a new cook and we remark it ! In the afternoons we are together and play and drink coffee. We have a new one, she looks a bit neglected, but that will surely change.

One day while playing a game, we saw an ambulance Jeannie, who will have 100 years in March, was taken to the hospital and we heard later that she was not feeling well. We all hope that she will make it to her 100 birthday, that was her greatest wish.
At 4 am I woke up because my room was so bright. There was a big truck with a crane that took the garbage away.
Little Rosie made big eyes, but then continued to sleep
I wish you improved health and energy. The device you are using looks like it will do the job. Sadly for us all, Trump is no mere buffoon but a very dangerous man who will impact the world. The hat kiss was, indeed, funny though. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the device is helping and hope the medication will, too. Your new resident will soon settle, I expect, in such a lovely home.
ReplyDeleteIs driving safe when you can feel breathlessness is coming? My chemist will deliver medications, if we cannot get to the shop.
ReplyDeleteI drive better then I walk, because I sit and do nothing physical. The medication I can get here in my "castle" or I drive to the chemist and pick them up. No problem.
DeleteI'm glad you're able to get oxygen and that it seems to be helping. We've come from an extremely cold week, but today we're supposed to get up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit--still cold, but much better than 10. I hope Jeannie is ok and makes it to age 100. It's odd the garbage truck would come at such a time.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that you have the oxygen. I hope it is helping.
ReplyDeleteRosie looks quite interested in the trash truck.
Goodness that's early for a rubbish truck. Ours are early but not usually before 6am. I hope the medication helps to improve your breathing.
ReplyDeleteRosie pays attention.
