Our little town Waterloo had it's own Christmas market as usual each year, unfortunately the weather was so bad, so that less visitors were coming, it rained and I couldn't take a lot of pictures either
Your town brings back nice memories to me. In my younger days I visited Waterloo's famous attraction: the Lion Hill marking Napoleon's defeat. "He met his Waterloo" goes the saying. I even wrote a post on that closing it with the well-known lines from Abba's Band eurovision song.
That's nice that you get a market in Waterloo. For the past 3 years they are having a Christmas market in the town where I grew up which is just 5 minutes away from where I live now and, I have to say, it's the best one in Malta. We enjoy going every year and usually find some special gifts to buy.
Merry Christmas, dear friend. I hope your day is filled with warmth, happiness and the year ahead as well.

ReplyDeleteThe market set up looks nice. Some people call me Cameraface from my Bio pic. Do we have a new Cameraface?
