WHERE IS MY MOBILE ?

When I go out my mobile is always in my purse or in the pocket of my coat or whatever I wear. But at home it's another story. Normally I keep it besides me, but more often I forget where I have put it and this happened yesterday.

That it is Easter the whole year long in my house is normal, only I don't search for eggs, but for keys, glasses and .... my mobile phone. I started to check first my room, then the kitchen, then the living room. Nothing. I asked Mr. G. to call my mobile number, so I could find it more easily. The phone rang quiet close to me who was standing in the kitchen. We both looked around, on the table, besides my purse, besides the sink, it was still ringing but we couldn't find it. The ringing stopped.

Mr. G. called again, again it was very close, but we couldn't find out from where exactly the ringing came. Meanwhile we were in the living room and the phone still rang. It was bewitched ! The ringing stopped. Suddenly Mr. G. looked at me and said "Do you have your mobile in your pocket ??" I was offended, no, of course not ! Nevertheless I checked the pockets of my jacket. Nothing. "Maybe in your trousers ?" Phew, I sighed, but I checked ... and there it was ! Of course it was ringing wherever I went !

By the way, while I am writing this, it makes me think where did I put it now ? Not in my pockets, that's for sure ... and the worst, I had put it on "silent" because I went to the movies yesterday evening !

  1. That is so funny, but I think it happens to all of us. Mine likes to sneak out of my pocket and fall in between the cushions of the lounge or under the seat of my car.

  2. To prevent such happenings, I put specific things at a specific spot!
I learnt how to cope with temporary amnesia when I was sick 20 years ago.
Will blog about how I coped at work one day.

  3. Funny! I have the same problem with mene! Et le pire c'est avec le chargeur! Il m'est arrivé de rester plus d'une semaine sans retrouver le chargeur!

  4. I have a naughty mobile too. It’s always losing itself or forgetting to remind me to switch it on. I’ve already warned it, “Just one more time Buster, and that’ll be it between you and me”.

    Have a nice day, Boonie

  5. I lost my keys once and had to wake up my neighbour at four in the morning to get into my home. I found the keys about four months later. They had been in my purse for all that time! I never told them...

  7. I lose my mobile all the time. So I use my normal phone or Hubby's cell to call it and when it rings, TADA I find it!

  8. That sounds so familiar! Hardly a day goes by when one of us doesn't have to have somebody call our cell so we can find it! And, heaven forbid if we have it on vibrate! :D

  9. This strikes such a resounding chord. I hate mobile phones and quite like to be out of touch but I'm never 'allowed' to go out without my mobile.

  10. I always put things where I will find them and then look for days before I finally find them.

  11. The story of life now I think. My phone is always at the bottom of my handbag under lots of junk so I never hear it ring. Then am always surprised if it shows missed calls.

  12. Oh Gattina Gattina Gattina silent but DEADLY.

That's how I lost at least 1 if not 2 (I don't WANT to rack my memory) of my fones by turning the BLINKING SOUND OFF.

It wasn't to see a film. It was to SMOKE CRACK and not be disturbed.

Sorry, have to be frank here :-(

That was about 5 years ago, I hasten to add. I havne't smoked ANY crack at all since last year. I gave it up realy in 2009, only did it about 8 times between 2009 and 2010 but until the end of 2009 it was weekly. In 2008 it was several times a week... before that it was nearly every day. Ukk.

Yeah man I'm so very proud as you can tell.

    Shitty stuff!
