Thanks to these ads my generation is getting old and older ! We have already more than 1000 people over 100 in Belgium !
I think there we wouldn't agree anymore
Ad during prohibition
If I was a men I would get drunk before kissing those lips ! No danger for these women ....
If you also have a funny post please link here :
I cannot BELIEVE the first two photos, cola for infants and Camel being advertised with DOCTORS smoking them. Have a great weekend. Jo
ReplyDeleteVery funny! I think the first ad might be responsible for a lot of obesity that is plaguing the western world.
ReplyDeleteAh! the good old days, now I am pleased I was too poor to buy my babies coke too drink. They still have teeth.
ReplyDeleteOh my, those women certainly aren't in any danger of being kissed, liquor or not!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, those prohibitionists do look rather grim, don't they? Their honour (and everything else) must surely have been preserved;-)
ReplyDeleteThose are all amazing. Especially the doctor one. My grandmother's doctor actually told her to smoke for her nerves. She did too. Unfortunately she got bad emphysema.
ReplyDeleteHa! Ha!! Mais tu sais mon généraliste fume et quand il est avec Pierre qui fume aussi il s'en tape une à son bureau avant d'écrire l'ordonnance!!! C sûre que le groupe de femmes n'a rien à craindre...
ReplyDeletelol times sure have changed haven't they?
ReplyDeleteI am glad the cigarettes have changed because they do not make them with pure tobacco and the coke back then was sooo good.It was addictive because you wanted more. It isn't the same today cause they took the coke out of it. lol
And I remember that a man had to smell of cologne cigarettes liquor and sweat. It was so attractive back then, along with the rippling muscles. A gal could sit and enjoy
immensely watching a man put in a good days work, bring him sandwiches. Today everyone just goes to the gym.
