MY WORLD - Easter Egg Hunting
more participants here
Each year at Easter, Waterloo city organizes an Easter egg hunt in the city park. I had never been there, because when our son was little it didn't exist yet.
I don't know why they had put these sun chairs in the grass, it was a cold (5°C, 41 F), wet and grey Easter weather and I was convinced that there wouldn't be a lot of people, if ever
But I was wrong
even very wrong ! The parc was full !
A radio station and the chocolate brand mark Milka had sponsored the hunting.
hundred and hundreds of children were looking for eggs !
A lonely stroller parked under the tree
A living chicken greated the children
and then the hunting was over and everybody left quickly for home or into a café to warm up !

How cool. Even cold weather doesn't keep kids away from searching for eggs. :) Great fun. I still don't get the chicken though LOL :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lot of fun for the kids.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
How fabulous - a huge Easter egg hunt! We had snow here but still went out hunting...
ReplyDeleteIt must have been cold but it looks like a fabulous easter egg hunt.
ReplyDeleteWhat an event. Did you find any eggs?
ReplyDeleteOooo.... this is fun!
ReplyDeleteHow many Easter eggs did you find?
A good time was had by all! You should put those blue sacks on the Blue Monday blog! People would enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I would go out after and see if any eggs were unfound! lol!
ReplyDeleteAt least the eggs wouldn't melt like they would here. Looks like loads of fun for the children.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness that was a lot of children...and eggs ! Love the "live" chicken. Looks like it was a lot of fun even though it made me cold just looking at the photos.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I know you saw my "baby" post, but did you see my umbrellas ?
What fun pictures!
ReplyDeleteMention egg hunt + Free = lots of participants. Looks like the kids had a great time.
ReplyDeleteCool!!! I am not surprise people were at the rendez-vous even if the sun was hidden!!! I's a such good moment for kids!
ReplyDeleteHere we had a eggs hunt in the garden for the little daughters of my daughter. It was very funny!
FREE CANDY! Isn't it amazing how parents complain and complain about too many sweets - but when FREE CANDY is involved, EVERY parent gets their child out there! LOL! Egg hunts ARE fun, for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun. Oh, to be a kid again.
ReplyDeleteOur local park cancelled the egg hunt this year--the economy. We still had an Easter parade in the older part of Louisville. Cute kids, big rabbits and lots of chocolate. Speaking of chocolate--love, love, love your Milka brand. It is the smoothest and best!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of fun. I remember that we did hide eggs at home and wrote small notes with clues where to find them.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the Easter egg hunt was a big success.
ReplyDeleteI love the garden chairs. I have not seen that style of chair since I was a child. I am surprised they still make them somewhere.
