MY WORLD - Easter Egg Hunting

more participants here

Each year at Easter, Waterloo city organizes an Easter egg hunt in the city park. I had never been there, because when our son was little it didn't exist yet.

I don't know why they had put these sun chairs in the grass, it was a cold (5°C, 41 F), wet and grey Easter weather and I was convinced that there wouldn't be a lot of people, if ever

But I was wrong

even very wrong ! The parc was full !

A radio station and the chocolate brand mark Milka had sponsored the hunting.

hundred and hundreds of children were looking for eggs !

A lonely stroller parked under the tree

A living chicken greated the children

and then the hunting was over and everybody left quickly for home or into a café to warm up !

  1. How cool. Even cold weather doesn't keep kids away from searching for eggs. :) Great fun. I still don't get the chicken though LOL :)

  10. My goodness that was a lot of children...and eggs ! Love the "live" chicken. Looks like it was a lot of fun even though it made me cold just looking at the photos.
BTW, I know you saw my "baby" post, but did you see my umbrellas ?

  12. Cool!!! I am not surprise people were at the rendez-vous even if the sun was hidden!!! I's a such good moment for kids!
Here we had a eggs hunt in the garden for the little daughters of my daughter. It was very funny!

  13. FREE CANDY! Isn't it amazing how parents complain and complain about too many sweets - but when FREE CANDY is involved, EVERY parent gets their child out there! LOL! Egg hunts ARE fun, for sure!

  15. Our local park cancelled the egg hunt this year--the economy. We still had an Easter parade in the older part of Louisville. Cute kids, big rabbits and lots of chocolate. Speaking of chocolate--love, love, love your Milka brand. It is the smoothest and best!

  16. Sounds like a lot of fun. I remember that we did hide eggs at home and wrote small notes with clues where to find them.

  17. It looks like the Easter egg hunt was a big success.

I love the garden chairs. I have not seen that style of chair since I was a child. I am surprised they still make them somewhere.
