WEEKLY WINNERS - Farouk palace Cairo

When we visited Cairo, before going to the pyramides, we had a coffee in the Palace of the last King of Egypt, Farouk. It had been transformed into a hotel now.

The inside was breathtaking, all that gold and carved wood, mirrors and paintings....

    Mmmm... Marble floors! Oh how I LOVE marble floors! (not in my HOME of course - but in churches and palaces!) This is gorgeous! I would love to have dinner there one time -- or even tea! I think I would like to wear a ball gown and ... and... and a tiara!
