I hate the way the highways show so little now! So many cities put up those tall concrete things. They all look alike. Ugly.

11c is very cold here seeing we just got over Autumm temps low to mid 20c. and summer can get up to 45c very hot, to hot..thankfully our winter only lasts about 3 months..
Now there is some wisdom in those 13s, Gattina. I have yet to do all the travelling I want, but starting next year, I hope to do some. Not sure where to yet, though. What fun deciding where to go to first. Italy is looking pretty good at the moment...

ReplyDelete#7 is so true! I always wondered why we Americans had such a bad reputation in Europe, then I experienced firsthand a family of the stereotypical "Ugly American" while in Paris. After listening to them and witnessing their behavior, I understood about the reputation, LOL!

These are ALL true - but none so MORE true than number 1!!! THAT was why I wanted to not travel the highways when I came home from Wisconsin... I wanted to explore and SEE!

When I played the video with the volume up on my computer Tahoe [the black cat] tried to tear out the venitian blinds on the window right next to the speaker!! She could hear the bird singing and was determined to tear the house down and break the window to get to it!! LOL

ReplyDeleteI like your quote, 14, about your passport photo. I hate my passport photo, I had been under the strong summer sun for a few days, and was quite sun burnt around where my sun glasses were. Then I found my passport was expiring. so I urgently needed to renew my passport.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, today, my ESOL, English as a second language, five year old student told me that her aunty had a birthday, and she had a goat cake. I realise she meant it was shaped as a goat, and I gathered as a Chinese, she was born in the year of the goat /sheep. Do you you ever have a sheep cake?
