In my painting group we were talking about grandchildren. Some had a few once, some already very "old" once and some none yet. This gave me the idea to this Thursday Thirteen.

I have yet to find out. We would love grandchildren but on the other hand a lot of our friends can't come and play with us because they are looking after grand children. So we are enjoying the freedom andwe're not spending on them either. I guess I have to look at the positives of not having any.

Mine is still way to young for me to be thinking grandchildren; I've heard from my mother and my grandparents, that grandchildren keep you young.

Ha! Thanks for the morning laugh. I don't think my parents are getting grandchildren, but maybe grand-pets count? :)

These are great! I can't wait until I am a grandmother. That was my motivation to quit smoking a year ago. I want to live long enough to see my grandchildren. Both of my children are in college but my daughter is engaged so I have hope!!

My favorite is "grandchildren are your reward for not killing your teenagers."

I don't have any grandchildren yet but we have a little girl who comes to us once a month while her mom gets a rest (the girl has 'downs syndrome') so we get to practice so we will be really good at it when the grand kids do come along!

the best thing about grandkids is: I can send them home when I'm tired.

One day I will have grandchildren. Waiting this day I enjoy the daughters and incite them to stay free a long time still!

really good observation gattina. you don't however have grandchildren yet or otherwise you wouldn't have the time to blog because you will be busy babysitting them too :)
