FRIDAY's FAVE FIVE

As I wrote a daily report of my holidays in South France there are only two faves left !

Claudie wanted to check an educative farm before she takes her class there, all little once from 3 to 4 !

It was very nicely done there were ducks, little playgrounds and a lot of explanations concerning environment, how plants grow etc.

And of course a lot of animals, donkeys, rapids, goats, and an adorable black little pig, which fell in love with me. He liked to be scratched behind his ears, washed my shoes and followed me. His name was Jo Jo. I just wished I could take him with me. My cats would certainly have a lot of fun !

In the evening Claudie's daughter arrived she hadn't seen the new flower pot yet with the grid her father had built in two days. We had a nice supper together and of course a lot of fun too !

The next day Claudie had piano lessons in a nearby little town La Seyne. First we had lunch together at the beach and then I spent the whole time at the beach while she attended her piano lessons. It was warm and sunny I had taken my Kindle with me, read my book and watched people.

In the evening I noticed that I had taken quite some colors !

On Saturday my holidays are finished and I fly back to Belgium into the cold and rainy weather.

I am slightly concerned about how the pig washed your shoes.

I have been away for a few days too visiting my son. He has a nice cat but nothing as interesting as the black pig.

But with a lot of new, precious memories...

Sounds like such a fun trip! Except maybe getting that close to a pig, LOL!

And it looks like you all enjoyed all that gorgeous sunshine. Beautiful blue skies for those outdoor meals.

A beautiful holiday! You have the best of everything--farm, animals, nature, beach, friends!
I'm sure you could take the pig hidden in your carry on bag :)

How silencious the house is now yu're back in Waterloo ! I miss you ! I bought the cocktail roses this afternoon ! The rose wasn't yellow inside and the gardener said to me it was because this rose was in the end of its flowering. I am waiting for the next opening rose to see the yellow !
As the price was correct I didn't hesitate and bought it ! Pierre will be busy tomorrow to plant it in the flower box !

Sounds like you had a wonderful holiday. Not sure that pig would be welcomed when you got home!

What good fun to have an excuse to visit a children's farm. That pig is sweet. It doesn't take long for pale people from gray climates to get some tan once in the sun. That happens to me every year when we get here from Oregon, which must be like your home in Belgium.

I would love a coffee at the cafe on the beach. It must be hard to return to the gloom. Glad you had a fun time.

A black pig that washed your shoes? With what? A bucket of water and a sponge?? Quite intrigued now.

That black pig and Arthur would get on really well I'm sure.
