For once the sky was blue and ideal to make some photos. So I went photo hunting. My target was Christmas decoration in my town.
On the market I found just one flower stand with some Christmas things
The light garland which the city had put up all along the main street looked rather poor in the sunshine. Hope it looks better when it's dark.
Only the flower shops had done some effort. These were the nicest on the main street.
The big Christmas tree which usually is standing in front of the old church which once has served as hospital to the wounded soldiers of the Waterloo battle, wasn't standing yet.
and nobody in our area had any decoration either !
Apparently I am not the only one who isn't in Christmas mood.
Waterloo does look rather devoid of decorations, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteIt is full on christmas here, but it starts too early.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in the mood for Christmas yet but the shops are. They are playing 'I'm dreaming of a White Christmas'. Someone should tell them It's never going to happen here....
ReplyDeleteMost of our neighbours put up their decorations at the weekend - the first Advent. Love that hut wrapped in a big red ribbon.
ReplyDeleteI love that shed decorated as a present. London is in full Christmas attire and no doubt you will be fed up with my Xmas photos once I start to post them.
ReplyDeleteYou should come here, we are in full Christmas mood for about 2 weeks now!!
ReplyDeleteThe flower shops are looking very pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt came up too fast this year! (Not enough time between Thanksgiving and Christmas). That one little tiny building is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi Gattina - love the house .. they've done a good job there, while the wrapping of the shed looks fun .. I expect the rest will go up next weekend ..
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
It looks like Waterloo is not ready yet. The interior of our church has five large Christmas trees decorated only with white lights, very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Gattina. My Feedly shows a post you wrote on Braine L'Alleud (not sure I got the spelling correct) but when I try to go there it says the post doesn't exist. Weird. I could read it on Feedly and it looked like a very interesting post.
