It usually starts with :
Ciao, Lalla, how are you ?
and his face during the conversation. Sometimes I hear him shouting : Listen ! Lalla, listen !!
But no way .... she continues
Lalla : ratatatatatata .....
Mr. G. : Ciao, Lalla, bye bye ...
and I ask : What's new what did she say ?
Mr. G. scratching his head : I don't know !

ReplyDeleteI’ve been at the receiving end of the machine gun too. It’s true, at the end you don’t know what the other person has said because a) they haven’t said anything really interesting and b) they’ve talked all the time.
Sounds like my mother. She does at some point ask what I/we have been doing, but I only get a couple of words out, and off she goes again.
