more participants at Susanne at Living to tell the Story

1. This week was as exciting as a walk on a modern graveyard ! Not an old one like above it might be interesting. Before I really collapsed and felt lousy I mowed the lawn, that means I put the robot in the grass pushed the button "start" and watched it from time to time behind the closed French windows (see post below)

As I couldn't live or die, I took my medication suffered in silence and blogged a bit.

I have no personal press service, therefore I answered the phone myself and kept my dear friends updated about my miseries.

4. As so often when you have too much time you discover things which I didn't even know that they existed. For example that Blogger keeps your spam mails since 2011 (or maybe 2010) in your spam folder ! I thought if I would delete them they disappear forever, but that's not the case.

I went into the "comment" section of my travel blog

clicked on "spam" and discovered more than 3000 spams in there !! I almost fell off my chair. It was the same in my other blogs.

I clicked on delete, 100 spams per page and deleted them all. It took some time I tell you !

But now my blogs are spam free and I watch now that I delete spams definitively at least once a week !

The rest of the week I spent counting the days ! I hate not to feel well and it gets on my nerves

And then happened what had to happen in a perfect couple, when one half is sick the other half has to be sick too !

Mr. G. got it too !

Now that I am feeling better .... !

Glad you are feeling better, please take care! hey, I didn't know about the spam thing...thanks for the hint, I will check it.
By the way, I use google reader to follow many blogs, and I received a note from google that they will close it next month. :( and they don't give options. Do you know another way to follow our blog friends, I mean another "reader"?
hugs and happy Friday!

Oh yes, that would be the case: you feel better and the other half gets sick. Hope the both of you are on top again soon.

Glad you kept your sense of humor even though that horrid feeling of sickness tried to take you down. I had no idea about the spam section. I guess that's what I'll be doing along with trying to replace Google Reader! Thanks for the tip.

Achh these darn colds!! Every one I know is sick.
Even I got a dose this year and it refused to leave for a long time. I try to stay away from getting sick like this but no one is immune these days.
Like every one else I am looking forward to nice warm weather lol

I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well! And sorry that Mr. G. got it, too! Hopefully he will be on the mend soon, too.

I try to check my blog spam once a day and gmail spam every now and then. I like to scan it because sometimes a legitimate comment does get pulled into there -- but very quickly because there is so much awful junk in there!

I had no idea about the spam. I will need to go and check mine. No why would they keep your spam mail for all those years? Hope you are feeling much better. And Mr G too.

One of my posts seems to attract spam more then any other. I don't know why? Not a good thing to go and look at cemeteries when you are sick. Get well soon.
