When I was in Marrakech we attended a beautiful show in a restaurant called "chez Ali"
The restaurant, a horse parade and a trompeter to great us
While we were eating we could watch all kind of folk dances
from men an women
I tell you the music was very special and loud !
the horse show and the camel waiting for the bride. The show was about a story from Ali Baba.
and this was what we ate, the traditional couscous ! Delicious
and that's what we heard when we arrived and when we left !

I adore couscous! The whole evening looks very colourful.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a Moroccan restaurant crossed with Disneyland!!
ReplyDeleteI was too poor for couscous when I was in Morocco. It cost about £3, the price of a hotel room!! So I ate those flat breads you get on the street. And soup, which looked like kaolin and morphine mixture. And sure enough I never got diarrhoea, haha!
So, you also went to Chez Ali... Everybody in Marrakech has to go... ;) Great fun!
