That London' Pubs are my world is fortunately not true, but I love the way they are decorated. When my son lived in London I used to go into Pubs for drawing people. When I look in my drawing book I must have been in around 60 Pubs over the years. They all were so special each of its own cosy, with red plush sofas and armchairs, beautiful old drawings or pictures, an unbelievable variety of victorian or older furniture styles.
This time I only saw them from outside while a strolled through London's streets, and I took these pictures.

You've captured them perfectly! What delightful places they look like -- would love to make the rounds and see them all! Thanks for the great shots!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!

So you went pub crawling - a drink in every pub? I'm surprised the last photos are even in focus.
ReplyDeleteLove those pubs - very atmospheric - and some of them have great home made food.
Great photos.
Very beautiful snaps. Looks like each of them something unique in their decorations.
ReplyDeleteYou mean you did not even visit one this year? Tssk!! They serve great food in the pubs in London, better than some of the restaurants! I love the hanging baskets and all the flower decorations, their own very typical style.
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely captured the essence of the British pub in summer!
ReplyDeleteI wanna go pubbing with you. Could you imagine the shape we would be in by the time we hit the last one? LOL. Great photos :)
ReplyDeleteThose places are full of charm and atmosphere. Too early for a pint for me, though!
ReplyDeleteNice tour. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBellissime le tue composizioni...
ReplyDeletebuon inizio settembre.
One trip Hubby and I made to the UK we called the Pub tour. We drove 1500 km around the country and only stopped and ate and drank in Pubs! What fun!
ReplyDeleteWOW! There are a LOT of pubs in London! And every one of them pretty in it's own way! I don't think we have a PRETTY pub in DC! LOL! (I'm probably wrong about that... it's been a loooooong time since I've been pubbing in town!)
ReplyDeleteA delightful post dear Gattina! Pubs are really an important part of British lifestyle I think. I'm surprised to see all those beautiful and creative outside decorations and would like to discover what there is inside! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love how you captured the place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful view of London pubs from the outside ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Great pub pictures. You do go to the greatest places.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pubs. Long ago I recorded an album at Wessex Studios and the pub was what we wanted at the end of the evening just before closing.
ReplyDeleteI was just in London last month. It is a great place for taking pictures. I was traveling with my son so we didn't do a lot of pub crawling. But they are nice to look at. We had an interesting conversation with a local man in a pub in Kew though.
ReplyDeleteBloody lovely the are! I love all English, Scottish or Irish pubs since they're so much alike each other. The decoration that is, the people are verrrry variated and that's what's so great.
ReplyDelete...and so much beer to choose between!!!
Cheers ;-)
Beautiful arhitektur.Greeting.
