FUN MONDAY - Scars ?

Lil Mouse challenges us to show our scars. Scars can be physical or emotional, they can be a reminder of something good or a warning against repeating past actions.

I belong to the happy people who don't have any scars. No, that is not quite exact because I have one 36 years old scar which was caused by a cesarian, but I don't consider this as a scar but rather as a happy event. The emotional scars I had in the past are all taken away and nothing is left. My soul is as smooth as a baby bottom.

I probably will have a scar left for a couple of weeks when I go home from this beautiful place, but this will heal quickly because I am coming back next year.

I am leaving Eastbourne tomorrow and will stay a few hours in London before I take my train home in the evening.

The scar I will carry for a while !

  1. Like you Gattina, I only have one scar..thats pretty good for our age. Guess we were extra careful or just plain lucky! Your vacation photos are beautiful, I can see why you hate to leave. Thanks for sharing and Happy FM

  3. I think you are very lucky! You have your photo blog listed as a link instead of this blog on mr linky. I think most people will find you, but you might want to relink back to here if you dont start getting comments pretty soon!

  4. How lovely to have this wonderful place to visit each year, Gattina. Another blogger friend wrote about an annual trip to Key West Florida in the same way. You probably enjoy the wide open spaces so close to a beach--a contrast to home? And you seem to really enjoy your hosts. Good photo of the three of you.

Here's to getting to our age with only a few scars--physical or emotional. Guess it is true that time heals all wounds? :-)

  5. I have many scars, but I chose to see these as scars of victory.
    Safe journey home.

  6. You are indeed very fortunate to have no scars. So many people have so many and all different kinds. Some never seem to heal.

  9. Temporary emotional scars - I think they happen on a daily basis, but are of such little consequence that we don't think of them as such. Usually, we just call it "experience".

    I finally posted mine!

  10. I have an appendix scar and one on my ankle from having an osteophyte removed, but that's all. Not bad, eh? As for emotional scars, I think I've probably got heaps, like most of us. But they're from the past and that's where I've left them. Unusual post.
