Wow Gattina, it looks like you're having a great time in England! I enjoyed your pictures of London too, you've had some amazing pictures up all week! I can see that you're getting better and better at it! I will be in London from Friday through to Monday, and I'm very much looking forward to it!
Interesting how they can get such perspective with those chalk figures.

I never knew about the Long Man. Thanks for posting that, Gattina.
What a co-incidence! My brother owns the pub in the village by the Long Man - The Giants Rest in Wilmington. Did you drop in for a drink?
England sure is beautiful through your lens, Gattina! Greats stuff.
I would like to go there as well :)Nice photos.Happy Wednesday!
Gattina! I LOVE this! I had never even heard of hill figures or chalk figures before! Of course I had to read the wiki too and go off on a billion pig trails learning and learning some more! This was a fabulous post! (and I'm sO happy it ended with a DRAGON!!! Even two!) :)
It's easy to keep track of how many ww's you have. Search for all the wordless wednesday posts. Add a ww label to all of them (it's done instantly). See what the system tells you! I have always numbered my ww's,though, that's how I know today's is my 100th :)Love the updated dragons!Have a safe trip back home!
The chalk man and the dragons are both interesting shots. Great choices.
must be wonderful to take a hike there and trace the "long man" figure... and even more to see it from where you took the photo:)..i hope you're having a wonderful time there (by the way, i like the castle photo with the two dragons:))... and i cross my fingers it's not too rainy there so you can enjoy afternoon walks in the countryside :)
Gattina, have you seen the Rude Man? He's a lot like the Long Man only ruder! http://www.mysteriousbritain.co.uk/majorsites/cerne_abbass.html
Great dragons, Gattina! I'm sure enjoying your England trip! :)
