MY WORLD
more participants here
I still have the painters in the house so it was a nice opportunity to escape the mess by driving my neighbor to the hospital for her monthly eye check up. The hospital is located in a quite old part of Brussels.
It's a very famous hospital where all posh babies are born
the inside is very modern
but in the streets you still find the old manor houses, transformed into flats but they have kept the original facades.
Here at the corner is an old café where futur fathers can drink a few glasses before the big event.
and as it was Valentine's day, the flower shop in front of the hospital was full.

Lovely world you live in. The hospital certainly IS posh! I love the old manor style buildings. Looks a lot drier and less ice in the streets. Spring in the air? I hope so for you. (((Hugs))) Jo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. We are now giving serious thought to train passes, which will make us worry less, and probably argue less as well.
ReplyDeleteAs the passes are for 1st Class, we will be comfortable and happy, I think.
And now I'm so looking forward to Brussels.

I love these old tall city buildings. The flower shop is gorgeous
ReplyDeleteThat hospital looks better than the one we have: a few baracks!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Brussels (St Pierre Woluwé) I lived with quite a wealthy family and she had a house that she had divided into flats somewhere in the center of town. The outside looked fantastic as well.
Sure is a modern hospital. The surrounding buildings are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteBrussels looks full of lovely architecture and so clean.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely world indeed, Gattina! I love the old manor houses! Would love to live there!! I do hope you're getting some better weather -- be glad when we do!!! Love your photos for the day! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

I liked seeing the architecture in your city. No snow there - I hope your weather is warming toward spring.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty part of Brussels. The old manor buildings are stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove to see the glimpses you show of places I'm sure I will never visit.
ReplyDeleteI love such old streets They certainly take you away to another place and another time.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if delivering a posh baby is any more posh then an unposh baby?
