More participants here at Sarcastic Mom Weekly winners
Last week I went to Kamperland which is a small town of 1940 inhabitants in the Dutch province of Zeeland. I was invited by my friend (see post below) which I hadn't seen for two years.
They had bought a little fisherhouse in the 70th renovated and modernized and it has become this little jewel.

and the other side in range with the same kind of cute little fisher houses, now mostly owned as holiday homes. There are no fishermen anymore.
this is the view out of the garden. In warmer seasons there are sheeps and horses browsing here.

After lunch, we made a big walk along the sea and in the dunes

The lonely man was my friend's husband who shot me while I was shooting him ! But we are both still alive !

that's a really pretty place, would have love to drop by there once .. i just wonder how busy it is in the summer.. the dunes look beautiful...

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the place but it looks ever so peaceful. I'll need to look on the map, I'd love to go there sometime. It reminds me how terribly cluttered and spoiled our Belgian coastline is.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE an empty beach! It almost NEVER happens here... but when I can have a beach all to myself! Ohhhhhhh Gattina! THAT is heaven! They have fixed their little cottage up nicely too!

I was in Netherland on my summer vacation in 2008 and I just loved there! Thanks for bringing back such lovely memories.
