About 40. 000 Americans are living in Belgium. Yesterday evening they gathered in a big Hotel in Brussels, together with Belgians. They were following the elections in their country on big screens. No sign was there for McCain, it was as if he didn't exist. They all voted for Obama.
The best guy had to win! Congrats!!

hooo! My family cat was in the same feeling as yours! And now we have the heart full of joy! Mac Cain was a gentleman with Obama after the result! America gave us a good lesson of democraty and I hope in France the things will change too in politic! It would so nice if women and minorities could have a better place here too!

Hi Gattina. Mewsic is sitting on my chair with me as I read your blog, and she says "Mews" to Arthur & Rosie
ReplyDeleteBark!! I'm a good dog, so will refrain from talking politicks or any other kind of ticks. Arf, arf, arf!!
ReplyDeleteOoooppppssss, this silly dog furgot to change from Mom's name to mine. That last comment was from ME, Reba, not from Mom 'Bean Alice.

Curious kitties. :)

ReplyDeleteHi there, your cats are cute! Thank you for your visit today. And thanks for your interest in our country's election. I am proud that I live in a "blue state" - two days ago, it was still a "red state" but this election turned things around in many of the United States. Please pray for us, if you're the praying kind - our new president-elect and all of our country's citizens will need the prayers of the entire world in the years ahead.
