On Saturday I was up early it was still dark and it rained. I thought that this is exactly the weather I need to lay or sit on my sofa and do nothing but pity myself. I had a stressful week and felt so empty and without energy.

Someone once said to me that you should listen to your body, which I did and besides watching TV and blogging, I looked out of the window and saw the wet leaves on the lawn.

There was nothing I could do for Mr. G, he was sick and well cared for, mostly he slept. His food was brought to the room and he was given a perfusion. So I'll go tomorrow and hope that my really lazy day will help me regain some strength again.
Rosie as a compassionate cat did like me !

  1. Yes, listening to your body is important and sometimes just being lazy is a good thing and what the body needs. These days everything is go, go, go, 24/7 but people need some real downtime.

  2. Awww on the kitties. I love cats.

Sometimes we need to listen to our bodies and rest. I'm glad you did just that.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Gattina. ♥

  3. The cat's yawning is a priceless view!

  4. Our bodies remind us to slow down and take a break. I hope you will. Take care and enjoy a new week. I hope this month will be a very good month for you. PLease take care.

  5. Listen to your body and take care sweetie!

  6. Isis! Good to see you once again! You are so pretty!
Rosie, we get really tired a lot too...and sleep, and then when *sher* goes to bed we hear some walnuts clunking down, and we have to wake her uo cause those things woke us up!!
Rosie you are good therapy, being in sync with your 'maid-servant' LOL!

I know you don't like wet leaves but your picture of the yard is very pretty and colorful. That's why I like fall, the Painter comes by each night and puts some color where there wasn't any before. I guess he knocks some off while he's there!

I hope Mr G will feel more himself when you go to visit him, next.
And yourself too. A lazy day spent pampering yourself is not wasteful, it is good for the soul and a good way to refresh yourself.
