It happens that you wake up in the morning and you see the world in black, which is normal when the shutters are closed. But if the world remains black and the sun is shining into your room and your mood doesn't get better, then it is not a good sign to get up, but rather remain in bed.

Even the view on cute little Rosie all curled up didn't change anything, I just didn't like myself !

Of course I had to get up, there were things to do which I did reluctantly. Fortunately Nicole called me and asked me if we couldn't go for a little walk into the woods nearby and to the horse riding school and watch the riders with their horses. Monique joined us.

What a good idea, and together we drove there walked around in the sunshine and admired the beautiful horses. There was a new restaurant in the riding school with huge windows so you could observe their training. We sat there for at least two hours, chatted with the horse owners. Then we went back home. We stopped at the English shop Stone Manor and bought some cake, fudge and
Donuts to which I had introduced them. Finally the day had been very nice. We even had sat in the sun.

As it is unusually warm for the season of course not to run around half naked, but around 17° unfortunately the grass has decided to grow again and Mr. G. had to take Oscar (the lawn mower robot) out of his winter bed and let him work again ! I hope this will be the last time !!

It was grey and windy outside and I preferred to stay home and clean up cat Arthur's mess. The poor boy has difficulties to sit in the right place of his litter box and accidents happen. He doesn't it on purpose poor old boy is nearly 18 !

I also worked on my computer and surfed a bit the net.  My neighbor had 3 pots of mums standing in front of the door, as "All Saints day" is approaching everybody rushes to the graveyards to put mums on the graves, which in most cases are forgotten during the whole year until the next first of November ! That's the use in Belgium.

Sounds like a dark day turned into a lovely one. Nothing like fresh air and horses to help you find your smile - and fudge, who can be sad when there is fudge!

Nice that you were able to get cheered up going out with your friends.

It sounds like the horses helped things considerably.
